I know this question is old, but want to clear up misinformation posted. In Pennsylvania you must have a PA state ID or Drivers License and a PA Medical Marijuana Card or be registered by the doctor who gave the approval as a caregiver for people who have a hard time or cant go themselves. No dispensary in PA is allowed to honor a card from any other state, even if its a medical card. That is set by the PA Department of Health, not a choice the dispensary makes. Also PA has a law placed that you must keep the original packaging with the "script" sticker on it at all times you have the product on you. Also PA law prohibits crossing state line with PA product, so essentially you cant take your medical marijuana on vacation or a trip outside of the state. The DOH needs to look at the last one again because a lot of people vacation at the beach in NJ, DE, and MD. As of now youre legally not allowed to take your medical marijuana with you, but its legal to take traditional medications
I'm from RI too but have a Cali Card.its up to the dispensory wether or not they wanna take out of state. But then the police like in RI can still take it from you after you leave cause its not your state. They have alot to figure out.
