Because we make so much wax in Pennsylvania that's why thier is a flower shortage
Government controls
State needs to approve and license companies to be able to sell product in the state which is fairly expensive along with costs of all testing of product to state standards, operating costs of grow facility, etc. Im fairly sure, not 100% though, the product must be grown and processed in PA thus far.The large companies like GTI, Cresco, Terrapin, Prime, etc. all have a larger presence in western PA but there is a grow for Vireo in Stroudsburg. Even with new autoflower plants and best genetics the minimum grow time is 3 months. Most companies dont have a large enough facility to keep a steady flow of flowering plants, so every 3 months youll see a large flower selection from a company and then have to wait until next flower harvest. Also Mission is a smaller dispensary and only 1 location thus far, so the larger dispensaries backed by large companies get a majority of the product. As Mission grows and hopefully add more locations, they will get a larger portion of product.
Good morning. Unfortunately there are more operating dispensary licenses than there are grow and processors. The number of people this medicine benefits and helps far outweigh the product availability.
That is the magic question man.
