I thought I would be intimidated working out at a gym of this caliber. The opposite was true. I was inspired by the folks lifting. Every one I have met and talked with are friendly and helpful.
If you're allowed to lift there it isn't intimidating. The lifting community in the "professional" side of things rarely stand by when someone is about to do something dangerous because they are new and unaware. The only time that isn't true is when some loud cocky obnoxious d-bag sounds off on a seasoned lifter why is just trying to let him that what he's about to casually lift is 2x a world record...then people can't wait to see the inevitable. I'd say that happens in every gym tho. Unless you've had a power lifting coach for a few years, most your age aren't intermediate. Don't pretend to know something or lift too much, ask questions and when someone let's you know your form is off you thank them and listen. It's also you job to be logging countless hours on youtube searching proper form to keep yourself safe because if someone gives you wrong info, it's you're job to know better and stay safe for a newbie... Which is how most people would see a 15yr old. Good luck
