I am currently living in the mews for 2 months and working in Manhattan. For me it has been a pleasant experience for sure. In being a new immigrant and family still to join me, I have been surprised by the fact that I look forward to getting home and yes it does feel like a home. IOW you will enjoy the community.
Just Google "water intrusion Toll Brothers the mews at Princeton Junction" you will find the first link is a PDF of a court document specifying the development construction defect by way of water intrusion. If you experience moisture in your apartment and a funny smell it is possible you have mold in your walls and don't even know it, or see it. I heard from two tenants that are presently in temporary housing because they had to leave their apartment for mold that when The Mews was built there was a construction defect and the windows were not installed properly. Since toll brothers is not replacing the windows, but instead cuts out walls to remediate/clean the mold, the mold will continue to come back. I’m no expert, but if this is true, it’s concerning. The most disturbing fact is the Mews added a mold addendum to their lease knowing they have an ongoing mold problem.
