Wolf Creek does not have a gondola. I do believe the mountain is open in the summertime, but they don't run the lifts. I believe it's all on National Forest land.
No gondola. It is open for hiking on the summer.
No gondola at the ski area, all the lifts are at most 4 people if not less, and not the new fangled high speed lifts you see at places like Vail. Sam is correct, the land is open to public use because it is NFS, but the lifts do no run in the summer. It is a beautiful hike up to the continental divide on top of the ski area in the summer.
