Yes when purchasing a med over the counter got to have an ID, on ID no meds.... That's the law now days.....

There isnt an age restriction for Benadryl. You cant get high off of it, or use it as an ingredient for anything to get high off of. It contains no ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, which are the ingredients for otc cold medications that require an id. I used to buy it for myself all the time as a kid(as young as 10 at my local convince store). I have switched to Allegra for sesonal allergies, but for cats and dogs, Benadryl still works best. If they wont sell it to you, just leave. But no, there should be no law against someone under 18 buying it.
