Even before arriving we found this hotel because of the great value. The area is crowded with hotels from Durango to Cortez but I think we found a winner! Staff was very friendly and expedited a check in seamlessly. Our rooms were clean and neat, well appointed. The owner was available and present throughout our stay, caught him playing a little basketball with his boys in the parking lot last night. Great family values, great place to stay!

Had a really bad and disgusting experience (room 103), we drove 12 hrs. to get here, me and my family were tired from the trip, we got the room and went to bed immediately, my daughter woke up a few hours later to use the bathroom, when she came out she ask me to look at the bathroom, there was feces on the walls, I immediately when to front desk to let them know, David, the clerk, came over to my room, he was embarrassed and concerned, luckily for us he gave us the last room available, I know that mistakes happen, but this is gross ,unhealthy, unprofessional and totally disgusting.
