Yes.

Most things are only a very short walk from the edge of the road, even a person walking with a cane or walker would have little trouble viewing most.

Its a beautiful park from the road, but if you want full impact , a bit of walking is needed. And if you really want the Mesa Verde experience...you need to hike , climb.

Josh Maximovich | Nov 8, 2018

No, walk a 100' and you'll see the edge.

No not really...several sites are under a covered roof down a short walking trail. The cliff dwellings can be seen from overlooks across canyons. The visitors center is very instructive! Fantastic experience!

By short, he means very short walks. You can see some of the cliff dwellimgs from the car, but get out and take a few steps anx you will see so much more. Also, keep in mind that it is a twenty to thirty minute drive once you enter the park before you get to anything. We saw a very elderly man looking around and he was getting around just fine. Now the farm dwellings are a bit of a walk to go see. You can see teo right from the turn around, but the other three you have to walk into the woods to see. Hope this helps! Well worth the visit!

You can't see a lot if you don't even get out of the car. But in many cases, you can see ruins from the parking areas and along very short paths. The museums and visitor centers are great, too. We used our binoculars quite a bit to see the ruins well without having to get closer.

Yes, can see some from the road and by walking 50 to 100 steps can see most of the ruins.
