The fish market validates for $2 off which I hear covers the first hour. Though, from the second hour the price apparently sky rockets. We used metro.

The parking garage rates at the wharf are EXPENSIVE but you have just ONE hour to shop at the fish market for a reduced rate. DON'T waste your time! Use that one hour wisely otherwise you'll be spending a lot more money for the second hour! Honestly, they should allow an hour and a half so people can take their time buying fish and not feeling rushed. DON'T forget to have your parking stub stamped when you buy something!

Parking was horrific on Sunday afternoon even without a major event. There is a large underground garage I circled for 40 minutes unsuccessfully and had to exit, the attendants were familiar with the issue and allowed me to leave without paying. The limited parking available outside was also monitored very closely and the many attendants were not quick to allow cars in as others left. There were also numerous people issuing parking tickets and tow trucks on standby so beware of parking illegally.
