Is there Gar fishing there and is it ok to eat fish caught?

You can fish the Trinity. Don't eat it, as others have said. You will get sick (it's the Trinity for Pete's sake!) For fish you can eat, I suggest using the FishBrain app. It will show you the good spots, what fish are at those spots, what baits they hit on, and what waters you can trust eating fish from.

You could fish here , eating the fish you catch is up to you (as long as they are of legal size)

All fish caught on Trinity River are not edible if not where is s good place to go fishing never been here to fish but really would like to lol
