Does it cost just to go in? And can you get the area with dead trees?

I am trying to get to the big patch of them for a halloween photo session

Hi! Since it's a State Park it does cost money, it's currently 9 dollars for entry. Which dead trees are talking about? There's quite a few a few you can get too, and several more if you're willing to cross the river.
