I might be nuts but I literally couldn’t rate this campground at anything less than a 5 simply because of the views. Yes there’s a train that goes by occasionally which didn’t bother me. It’s right off the highway which made it a perfect place for us to stop for one night on our cross country trip. It is clean, the picnic table area is nice. The river is beautiful, they have free fishing poles set up for people to use at their ponds. They have a small swimming pond and a playground for kids. Maybe I’m crazy because I’m from Michigan and we don’t see views like this but I would give this a 10/10 if I could.

Great little spot to go camping just east of Grand Junction Colorado. You have to make your reservations online. The only downside was the train coming all hours of the night

The views are impressive ! Stop by the Exxon across the street for some cool photos and extra views.

Great place for camping that is near the highway without too much noise. The views of the mountains and Colorado River are great. Easy walking trail along the river. Restrooms have showers and are kept very clean. Reasonably priced for tent, electric, and full hook-ups. Can be windy thus the structures at the picnic tables. Decent space between sites but has few trees around the open fields.

You usually can purchase the pass at the park. Not sure about reservations online. They're pretty responsive if you call in.
$24 for electric, $28 for full hook-up. This doesn't include the park fees, which are $7 per day or $70 annually.
Call or go on the cpw website.
I am trying to get to the big patch of them for a halloween photo session
www.cotrip.org is the CDOT website. They have all of the planned activities there.
Yes I'm sorry due to the recent disappearance of the Clark family and the idol couple we have close the camp ground temporarily. Sampson is working on it as we speak we are sorry for the inconvince.
