Not to my knowledge. I've never been far off the path but the creeks are pretty shallow most of the time. I also don't know if there's a park in the metroplex I'd be too comfortable going too far off the path into. Homeless folks around here don't have a ton of other options, sadly, and I don't think these parks are policed too seriously. Also I hear creek waters here tend to be pretty contaminated, but I couldn't speak on these creeks with certainty. Crystal Canyon is a great quick morning walk, that's about it.
