Only certain sites can be reserved others are 1st come. That may be the issue
If you are looking to hook up your camper to Water and Electric. This is a primative campground . Steamboat springs state park should have reservation site .
When I was there last june, it was 1st come 1st serve. there was barely anyone there. The lake camp grounds, Steamboat lake & pearl lake near by you can book online.
