I have visited Elk River Guns on several occasions. Very knowledgeable. I appreciate their openness in volunteering the advantages and disadvantages of each product. On your first visit, look for Matt. You can’t miss him as he is well in excess of six feet tall. Matt has a terrific personality and incredible expertise gained from personal experience with a multitude of firearms, ammunition and gear. The shop is loaded with inventory and located only about two minutes north of downtown Steamboat. I can recommend these folks without reservation or hesitation. Frank R.
