However, if you are looking for a hero style sandwich then you would ask for a sub or a hoagie. They come on long roles. Hope that helps and hope you find a good hero locally!
Where are you from originally? We don't call sandwiches heroes in NJ. We call them hoagies. The only other thing you might hear is the word sub that's only because of subway otherwise it's called a hoagie. What are you referring to when you say HERO? Maybe I'm not understanding.
