The State Park is a Wildlife Preserve and natural area. Recreation is limited to day hikes, no pets so as to protect the area. That being said, it's a super-beautiful place to visit.
No BBQ, no grills, no flames ever. Small uncovered tables on patio of visitors center.

There are bears and mountain lions in park area.
It doesn't have any picnic or BBQ areas that I am aware of.
