There's an entrance fee of $7 per vehicle, or $70 for an annual pass to all Colorado public parks. It may be worth noting as well that there is no parking in nearby neighborhoods or lots.
You can also buy an annual pass for $70 that will allow you to access all State Parks for a year.

If you live in the area and are outdoors often the annual pass is well worth it. On the front range alone we regularly visit Roxborough, El Dorado Canyon, Staunton, Golden Gate Canyon, and Cherry Creek.
