Very disappointed in the lack of communication when booking out reservations for dinner. I booked reservations for 6 of us, went out of my way to let them know we were looking to dine in the bar and watch the Celtics game. The hostess on the phone was very accommodating when I told her we would be eating and staying for the game. She said your reservation is all set and we'll see you at 7:30, enjoy the game!! We arrived, had dinner and cocktails, spent over $300.00. After dinner, we moved to the bar and enjoyed watching the game until the bartender announced that we and other patrons would need to leave the bar by 10:40pm because a wedding party had rented out the bar for the remainder of the night....WHAT??? There was 20 minutes left in game 7 of the finals and you're making us leave? There was no one to speak with other than the bartender, all he would say was I was told you all need to leave! This is no way to treat your patrons. We will never be back!

My first time visiting Lake Bomoseen Lodge & Taproom. My wife and stopped here for lunch after hours of gallery hopping. Very nice atmosphere with views of Lake Bomoseen. The food menu is simple, pretty much tavern style food but a lot better. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was huge and very good. The taproom has a decent selection of beers. I decided on the Fiddlehead brew on tap. Overall, we had a great meal and I recommend it to anyone visiting the Castleton, VT area.

I was very pleased with my one-bedroom condo. The place was spotless. The towels were nice and thick and the bed was very comfortable. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. I take very hot showers and the water temperature at the end of my shower was the same as at the beginning. The cookware was a bit dated, but certainly functional. The coffee they provided was delicious, I thought. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I was there at the beginning of the week when the restaurant was closed so I can’t comment on the food. I was in town for a funeral which unfortunately didn’t happen because a family member came down with Covid. Whenever we reschedule I will most likely stay here again.

Great place, right on the water, newly renovated rooms. The beds were comfy and rooms were super clean. The taproom had good drinks and the food was great. Looking forward to coming back.
