Cara was very nice. Front desk person long blonde hair could use some customers service skills training. They couldn't take our pet but they did call me back to tell me. Unlike Pinellas Humane or Tampa Humane

Our experience at Pet Pal was really great! We were encouraged to spend a lot of time allowing our dog to interact with the new one to make sure they are a good fit, of course they are! Thank you Pet Pal and a special thank you to Tammy! We would definitely come here again when it comes time to add to our family. Highly recommend PetPal!

Such a great experience at Pet Pal! I went in ~just to look~ and found the sweetest & quietest dog in the entire place, Velma. Her calm demeanor grabbed my attention and as soon as I asked to see her I was told “she’ll crawl right into your lap”. The staff let me spend one-on-one time with her and walk her outside. I could immediately see her becoming more comfortable with me and I knew I couldn’t leave her there. She was so happy when we got home to run around my backyard! I’m so happy I was approved to take her home. The staff was kind and answered all my questions & I could tell they were so happy but so sad to see this sweet girl leave!

Animal shelters always accept donations like this! And the humans and the for a friend are all very very grateful for any donations
They have a great selection. Definitely recommend over any other animal shelter. They come chipped, vaccinated and spayed/neutered
Best bet is to contact the shelter.
Carly is correct, if it's your first time you have to stop by sometime Tues thru Friday to get things setup first, once you've done that you can do your community service any day during the week or weekend by showing up at the designated time
Yes. Adoptable animals are on Petpal's website.
You would have to contact the shelter.
Sometimes they will have ferrets. Adoptions are usually 40 for cats and 200 for dogs. Pitbulls are usually cheaper. Check out their website, they update often.
Yes we do. Please visit us or call for details. :)
They use Hills brand only. However, the Pet Pal Thrift Store on 34th Street North and 15th Avenue takes all unopened pet food and greatly appreciates it!!
Please call them. They are special about pits. Hell, and probably adopt it after you drop it off!
Go to their website. petpalanimalshelter.com
Pet Pal is a no kill shelter
Regular service is walk in only. But if you need anything just give them a call they are supper helpful. A wonderful organization!
No
I absolutely recommend PetPal. The staff is wonderful and they really take great care of the animals. I just rescued a cat this year from there and it was a great experience
You have to call them as it all depends on breed and size.
Agree. They need to be treated and fixed so to stop the over population
It's $200 for a dog unless it's in the pitbull program, in which case it's $75 and comes with a free dog care kit. However, if you live in an apartment building understand that many dogs (particularly those in the pitbull program) require that the residence is owned by the resident. There are also strict rules on who will be living with the dog. It's best to call ahead and the front desk can help you figure out which dogs you will be able to adopt based on your living situation
You will have to contact shelter for that.
I do not know but Im assuming they might. They are amazing and really do care.
Call shelter and ask.
I have 3 black kittens
Average cost is 40 to 60$
Yes
Yes. They just give you a form, you fill it out and then they approve or disapprove it
Its possible that they are currently at max capacity for your specific animal at the moment and if that's the case they cant take more of them in until spots open up, this type of situation can happen anytime at any shelter not just this one. Maybe instead of putting a company on blast that cant fulfill your needs kindly ask them why they cant do what you want them to do and then ask if they have any recommendations as to where to go so you can get what you need done.
Yes
Go down to the shelter and get the information.
Yea no kill shelter. I did some community service here and they were so awesome. Its clean, the animals are well taken care of, and they really go out of their way to make sure each animal has special attention
Just bring them in, im sure they would be more than happy to take them
I want to say 15
Sure, call and let them know the situation.
I think you have to be 15 or older
They do not typically take surrenders.
No
