I cannot say enough wonderful things about Margot Bistro! We just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a beautiful, delicious dinner, made all the more special by their attentive, discreet but friendly staff. The food is a feast for the eye and the palate, the wine list and cocktail offerings are extensive, just an all-around, high-quality experience each time we visit!

Great restaurant! Great service and food. The owner stopped by our table at the end of the meal. He shared with us the time and attention to detail he puts into his food. It shows as every bite was savored. Wine list is French focused. We will return the next time we are in Burlington. Thank you for a wonderful night.

1st time here. Really nice that they take limited reservations so they can offer personalized service even during pandemic times. Attentive service. Chef came around to check and chat with everyone. Ambiance and food (escargot, mousse, moules-frites) were fine. The mushroom tart was amazing and one of the best martinis I've had in Burlington. We did have heightened expectations, with all the hype and good reviews, possibly making me more critical than with other restaurants but overall it was a very lovely night and we're looking forward to dining here more in the future.

Absolutely fantastic meal in every sense of it! Beautiful decor, wonderful staff, elegant (and of course) exquisite food. Everything we ordered was some of the best food we've had, and we've had some really great meals! This to me is a world-class restaurant that will continue to attract visitors from around the world. Pro-tip: The smoked trout is unbelievably good!

Thank you for your question! Reservations are mandatory. We do not take any online reservation so we are screening guests at the time they want to make their reservation over the phone. We are asking the info required by the state of Vermont and keep this info for tracing purposes for 30 days. We follow the Guidelines of the state of Vermont. Guests are required to use the hand sanitizer placed in the entry of the restaurant before entering the room. Also, guests are required to wear a mask as soon as they stand up, they can remove it while seating at the table. All employees (front and back of the house) are wearing mask at all time; we placed a HEPA filter air purifier in the restaurant, table are spaced at a minimum of 6ft apart. To give you an idea, we went from a total of 80 seats to 30 seats now.. We offer at the end of the dinner with the bill, a little bottle of hand sanitizer for guest to take home.
