Helpful staff. You can't just walk in and send something. You have to have a known shipper number which takes time to obtain. If you go through the process, it can be the most cost effective way to ship large items. For a large package to the east coast, it was about half the cost of UPS or FedEx ground.

Yes, parking right in front of the building
Yes, the office hours are 5 AM to 11 PM weekdays, 5 AM to 9PM Sat & Sun. Live animal pickups are allowed after 11 if prior arrangements are made and only if flight is delayed (not as a normal practice, in other words).
