Husband and I were there on 5/28. He ordered the steak which he said was good. Service was good. I left my credit card there and did pick it up the next morning with a receipt attached for something we did not order. They let someone use our card, that's BS. Tried calling but they don't answer or hang up when I ask for the owner.

It was a recommendation to try when we go through Astoria and we finally did on a Friday night. Definitely could tell it was a place where locals gather. Your order is taken at the bar with the menu on the wall & grab a place to sit.. our food arrived almost at the same time - although we had ordered an appetizer - Dirty Balls. One bite into it & although it was crispy on the outside- it was frozen on the inside. It was returned and requested to be cooked a little more - which they did. The breakfast casserole was what was expected & cheeseburger as well. A lot of history to this place & would recommend stopping by for a drink & conversation.

What a great little watering hole! My wife and I never miss the opportunity to visit Workers Tavern situated under the Astoria Bridge. Staff is great and they are not afraid trade light hearted barbs, that are all in good spirit, with the customers. Don’t miss out on the famous YUCCA!

I had some "fish stew" that was out of this world! It's a local Hangout. Good breakfast. Lots of beer. Lots of History. Funky but very friendly. It's located under the big bridge in Astoria. This part of town is called Uniontown. Every holiday, well Christmas and Thanksgiving, they serve a good holiday meal.
