LOVE THIS LIBRARY!! I have been coming in since I was a little kid. They have so many wonderful programs, classes, and events - most are free. You can check out books, cds, so many things. It's comfortable and familiar-like a warm family hug. Check them out! **Did you know you can check out FREE parking passes for State Beaches and parks. The Goleta Library is awesome!!

Wanted to print index to sequel book. Librarian"s instructions were for me to use one of their computers to log into to email myself what needed to be printed to print it from one of their computers. I didn't have cell with me... in car .. 15 min limit on computer. I couldn't verify my email address without phone.. my password for recovery email acct didn't work.... She could have just let me email it to her computer and printed it out like other libraries do. Am traveling around country finishing book. There were plenty of librarians there.... Nice facilities .. poor customer service... No index printed...

Nice setting for research and study. Was a little thrown off by 2 elderly men who were constantly talking which affected my concentration to study. Had to pop out my ear pods. Overall the place is decent.

Yes!
I can unreservedly suggest any books by Sheila Lowe, a renowned handwriting analyst who made her detective character, Claudia Rose, a handwriting analyst as well. I don't know if the library has her books. "Written Off" is a fav. Great characterization, psychological insights, a pleasure to read. Write Choice Ink, publishers.
They've closer in-door access. You can use their Sidewalk Service. Either log into your Black Gold account and request a book for pick up or I think you can go in-person and ask for a specific book.
Sorry I didn't notice any.
There are computers and b/w printing available at .15 cents a page. You don't need a library card, you can get a guest pass at the desk.
When my kindergartener (5 years old) went there for a field trip, many in her class got cards (with application filled out ahead of time).
Yes they accept donations however most will likely be thrown out or sold rather than used
