My husband and I went with core security due to the packages they were offering and how friendly/helpful their team seemed to be. When they came out for install, there were hiccups and more items needed ordered. After they arrived, no one came out to install the remaining items. The “door alarms” have kept falling off the wall and the company itself is non responsive when we have reached out. On top of it all, my husband was told our install/equipment would be free. That was sadly a complete lie. We were told the alarm would sync with local authorities (our whole reason for getting the system to begin with) and it doesn’t. We had a few false alarms and no one contacted us from Core to see if they were false alarms and the authorities never came. After months of trying to get someone to return our calls, we are now dealing with a lawyer due to the fact we stopped paying them for not installing the equipment, not being honest about the fees and the fact we were going to be charged for the equipment and misleading us on the actual secure part of having a security system. They “have us” since we signed for the service so I wanted to warn everyone else before getting involved with a company that doesn’t have integrity.

Worst security system out there. Do not get this system I repeat do not get this system. We have had this system over a year and it doesn’t work half the time. The system in our house is down and cameras aren’t even working. Spoke with customer service and told us that we had to pay extra fee a month to get our system serviced or pay a flat out fee. Now explain to me how you pay for a service that doesn’t work and you have to pay more to get it serviced? They never told us they were charging us 7k for equipment that you can purchase online for less than 500 dollars. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!!!!

Worst alarm system I've ever had. Can barely see anything thru camera at night, always a connection problem. Can't change password. Also this system affected my credit score. I regret ever getting it. Be aware, the financing is outrageous.

Questions & Answers

I have tried to contact the company 3 times today by phone. Each time I was put on whole for more than 5 minutes and then the phone cuts off. Why is this? Nobody picks up. This is important concerning my system. To be honest I am getting worry.

I don’t know what the issue could have been, but every time that I have called I have gotten a live person. I will hit them up tomorrow about you calling and not getting an answer. I’ll let you know something tomorrow.
