Cute little shop with a very local feel. Halfway between standard Portland consignment and antique, very eclectic! They have something for basically every style and taste. While it's small, they're chock full of great finds for clothing, books, kitchenware and a couple pieces of furniture. Not to mention they have the best prices I've ever seen of any shop of it's kind. My wife and I went in on a weekend and got her a couple shirts. A couple days later I was still obsessing over a mug I found there. I gave them a call, hoping it hadn't gotten snatched up but didn't get my hopes up. I have called places like this before who didn't keep good record of what they had stocked and I've been told "come in and see if we still have it" before. To my delight, Give & Take were great, accommodating, knew exactly what I was asking for and even pulled it off the display and put it behind the counter for to pick up when I peeled in right before closing. We'll definitely be coming back!

When visiting family in Portland, it is my place of choice. Unique vintage clothes, shoes etc. Antiquy houseware, furniture and other interesting curios.

Hi there, Thanks for your inquiry. We are continuing to require that customers wear masks in the store and we provide hand sanitizer for shoppers. We also keep doors open with fans blowing and limit the number of shoppers allowed in the shop at a time. Thanks again, Chelsea

You can just walk in with your items on their buying days/hours which are Sunday, Tuesday & Wednesdays 11-4 pm. Go to the counter directly on the right. Takes about 30 min max perhaps for them to decide what they can & cannot use.
