Very nice outdoor space. Deck has 3 or 4 fire pit tables for the cooler temps. Air conditioning inside for the warmer days. Staff is very friendly. All beers that we tried were great! We will be back!

Okay update ... Just returned from there tonight and it has grown... Much Nicer place than I recall, the beer menu has filled out... Live music... Hence the increase of stars. Sadly I wasn't impressed. We don't get out much, finances don't allow for that. They seemed to be packing them in... So I may be in the minority but what seems like flavored beers, not for me. I'm rather old school and I kinda like beer to taste like beer. Dark beers, with the viscosity of motor oil LOL, and you'll get my attention.

I want Lunacy to be really good, but they're not there… yet. They seem to be focused on hazy IPAs which is my go-to, but they lacked a distinct hoppy flavor and that pillowy mouth-feel. I'd really like to see them do a Citra pale ale- even though it's been done to death, it's my favorite and would give me more variety in my fridge next to Tonewood (I love the local beers!). The venue is small and not air conditioned which was uncomfortable during the summer, but it's really nice in the spring and fall because of the seating arrangements outside and open-air inside. I tried their sour, saison, and IPAs recently. The saison is lacking in flavor: it starts off with a slight funk which dissipates immediately. The sour is pretty bad: kinda sour at first but then fades to nothing. The IPAs are still just an assault of bitter hops- it tastes like it comes from powder and they added too much, and then the powder isn't very good. The Brewtus Juice seemed like it might be good, but my taste buds were destroyed at that point. I plan to give Lunacy another try and check out the porter and milkshake IPA, or maybe just a pint of Bewtus Juice.

When I checked a week or more ago Lunacy was closed on Saturdays. Has that been changed and are they now open? If so, that's good news.

That's not accurate. They are a well established brewery that seeks to make a profit. They are open during peak hours and have a loyal following. Worth the visit
