This complex has a few pros and cons. The parking is horrible. You can never get a hold of management and maintenance is so rude. It is very outdated and they try to make it better with little fixes but the whole place needs to really be updated. I lived in a 2 bedroom and there was only one air conditioner in the wall in the bedroom. So you have to have another in the living room or kitchen to cool the rest of the apartment. Water literally poured into our apartment multiple times through the A/C and luckily maintenance was able to fix it but the wall started warping and the bedroom was carpeted so hopefully they replaced it for the next people because I’m sure there was mold growing under there. They never addressed that when I asked how that would be cleaned. They told me to leave the windows open for a few days…. But it was definitely good for the price especially with an in unit washer and dryer and 2 bedrooms and the hardwood floors were nice. The carpets and bathroom are also pretty nice for the price. But they started raising the rent to ridiculous prices with no updates being made to the inside of the apartments. They also charged me for damages in the tub that weren’t made by us but I see another review that said the same thing so maybe that is their way of making extra money from the tenants….So my experience was 2 out of 5 after 2 years. I actually had multiple friends move into the complex and they would probably rate their experience with neighbors, bugs, and management 0 stars but I can’t speak for them but I did feel pretty bad they had such a terrible time. But overall, it’s not completely horrible. Definitely not worth what they charge now for their apartments.

Would not recommend living here. Terrible property management and terrible maintenance crew that never respond to you. Gets too hot in the Winter because they don’t have good heating and you have no control over it. In unit air is awful. Barely any parking already and they decided to give the maintenance crew extra parking spots all over. Wasted money redoing the siding to some ugly blue colors just for curb appeal instead of doing things to actually contribute to the the apartment units itself. Will rip you off on your security deposit with really stupid reasons.

Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Lived here for 2 years. Cons: - Management is basically non existent. - They control heat and are unable/incapable of doing so. Apartment would get down to 40-50 degrees during winter. - Electrical outlets are on verge of burning the building down. They are so old, some are incapable of even holding a plug. Management unwilling to replace. - If you get an apartment at the bottom of the hill, you will be required to walk through a swamp to get your vehicle with even the slightest drizzle. - Over priced and will raise your rent each year with little to no explanation. - Apartment is just a series of patchwork repairs. - Nothing will get fixed or replaced. The maintenance guys are nice but at no point was there ever a contracted repairman/electrician in the apartment. - Our counter in kitchen wasn't even attached to wall, it was just sitting on top of the tile and freely movable. - Buildings are too old and are in desperate need of repair/refurbishing. - Power goes out easily during storms. - At least 87 coats of paint on walls and doors. - Parking lot is too small. Pros: - Location kinda. Final words. Do not move in here. It isn't worth it. I have lived in north philly and camden. They were luxury compared to this pace. This place is a trap. Maybe I got a lemon, but I doubt it after talking to other residents. If you do decide to move in, check the unit you are moving into. Request that the outlets be replaced and the plumbing be looked at by an actual plumber.

I was looking for something affordable in a good neighborhood and found it here. I went on so many tours where I was so turned off by the leasing staff because they were rude or barely even acknowledged me but I have to say that when I visited the Village, Kristen was really busy but acknowledged me right away and even offered me something to drink. So welcoming, explained everything to me, and showed me one of the model apartments. Love the washer/dryer in the unit. The only thing I don't like is that at night sometimes finding a good parking spot sucks, but they were upfront with me about this from the beginning. I had one small maintenance issue and Jose came out right away and fixed it. Also I really wanted hardwood floors but no hardwood floor units were available so they gave me a unit with vinyl in the livingroom and carpet in the bedrooms. Looks great.
