It’s cheap way to stay for Philadelphia as you don’t have to pay Philly prices. Only a short drive into Philly. I think you need to expect this is what it is. It’s noisy being on a busy road. The room isn’t the best and yes it’s dated. It’s good enough to sleep in. Seedy area but just except the cheap prices.

There shower was very dirty as well as the towels was so old and bad colored brown. I was charged $30 after getting makeup on towels that was already trashed . Paid it .

My blow-dryer caught on fire. When my hubby went downstairs you talk to the front desk. He was given a key to room 107 and when we walked in it was completely filled with cigarette smoke. Like someone just left. There were holes in the walls. The bedspreads had holes in them. The vents didn't have covers on them. This place is a dump. I will be forwarding pictures over to corporate, the health department and code inspector. This place shouldn't even be allowed to operate.

The check-in staff was respectful and professional. Their prices are reasonable. The room and linen was clean. The location was quiet and clean. Plenty of restaurants in the area to go out an dine or order delivery. We booked a room for one day, we were so comfortable we stayed another night. I highly recommend Econo lodge and I will book a room again in the near future.
