Yesterday I made an online booking for September for a Studio Suite King + 1 extra bed. When I received the email confirmation the details read, "Maximum occupancy: 2 guests." So I called. The agent explained that's because there's only the king bed in the room and convinced me to upgrade to a One Bedroom Suite with King Bed...for another $100+ that I didn't need to spend. I received THAT email confirmation and it also reads: "Maximum occupancy: 2 guests." So I called again. The next agent I spoke to told me that we are allowed to be 3 in the room and the original / less expensive room I wanted DOES have a pull-out as well as the king bed so I asked to switch back and he said he couldn't do that and that I had to "speak to the front" and they would call me. No one called me so I called again this morning. The next agent I spoke to told me that the original room I wanted only has a king bed and a chair with an ottoman! So why on EARTH does the room description say "Studio King + 1 extra bed?!?!?!" She couldn't answer that so she just apologized. Then there was massive confusion about which reservation number I can enter to modify my reservation online. We finally got that straightened out and it still reads "Studio King" even though I received an email for the upcharge / bigger room (that I don't need); the agent told me not to worry because it's in their notes, but I want something in writing! I unfortunately may have to just cancel because I can only imagine if I show up in September with no proof of what I actually booked they're going to give me a room for the 3 of us and one king bed. I can't believe how difficult this is. Never had this issue before.

Staff and location are great. Parking is reasonable for downtown. However pictures are not what we had in room. Pics on website are much nicer! Also, you cannot control AC/heat in the room. Depending on the season, either the AC or Heat is on. You personalize cannot control the temp. Only option you have is to turn it off, open window or ask for a fan. Also Pool and Deck are closed during season but not mentioned on website. There was also someone personal shampoo bottles left in the shower when we checked in. Call before booking to see what is open, etc.

Stayed for a week and we really enjoyed this hotel! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms and kitchen are a bit small but they were outfitted nicely! Location is a big plus with about a 20 minute walk to major sites and the valet staff were wonderful! Each restaurant on site was amazing and we appreciated the friendliness of the staff, especially the man who greeted us most mornings and evenings!

The staff at the Windsor suites are amazing!! The care, concern and attention they give to their guests is outstanding!! From the lobby assistant; Treviare, housekeeping; Ivy & supervisor Josh, up to management; the wonderful Ms. Stephanie. I must say there wasn’t a staff member that we encountered that wasn’t pleasant, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. My husband and I have stayed here every year for the past seven years and they have never disappointed us. We love this place. When you’re in Philadelphia or already live in Philadelphia, and need an excellent hotel to stay at, trust me the Windsor Suites would be an excellent choice. Keep up the great work you guys!!

Yes. I was just there three weeks ago.. and the elevator stopped on a floor and a dog the size of a darn house was standing there. Me being scared of dogs.. I damn near died. I mean it was huge.. lol so Yes... im sure dogs under 35lbs are fine... seeing as though they allowed Seabiscuit to be there im sure you're good. Its my FAV thing about Philly so pls enjoy.
Its all over, if im not mistaken.
The minimum age to check-in to our Philadelphia, PA hotel is 21 years old. Feel free to get in touch with us for more information on the policies of The Windsor Suites.
I have never seen a train fall into the hotel. You can certainly use Uber or a taxi.
No breakfast at the hotel, but there is third party service on-site, which provides room service.
While we do accept cash as payment at check-out, we do require a credit card and photo ID at check-in.
