Since the new management took over, every sector of Fontana Village has improved . Specially cleanness, all over, no trash here n there, no bad smell around. Maintenance peoples attend service call very first. Lady in the leasing office so friendly, sincere and listen complaint with smiles. Thank you So much for caring the tenants.

I've been asking management about the trash being set out everyday for the past six months. I get excuses when I inquire about the trash I see everyday. I now see big rats running on the property. It's frightening. Also Mice are running all over my dwelling which is embarrassing. It cost over a grand a month to live here. Very Disappointed.

I wish they gave the option to leave out a star, this place doesn't even deserve one. I just finally escaped living in an uninhabitable home that had bed bugs. I moved in 2018 and a week later began to experience bites. The first bite I got was on my hand and the second one was on my back. Shortly there after, I reached out to the leasing office and spoke with Meg. She proceeded to ask me questions such as, "have I been to the movies recently or did I purchase any furniture from Rent-A-Center and I replied, "No". I purchased brand new bed room furniture from Gardiner Wolf Furniture and a brand new mattress from Mattress Firm. After explaining this to Meg, she told me that she would send an exterminator. I have a fear of bed bugs and after getting bit the second time I went to Walmart and purchased two mattress protectors, one to put on the box spring and another to put on the mattress. I also purchased sticky pad traps and put them under every foot of my bed. I then went into my children's room and put sticky pads under the foot of their bed also. After the fear of getting bit again I started sleeping in the room with my children on their bunk bed. I started seeing the bed bugs in my living room on the wall, on the downstairs closet, on the ceiling in my kitchen, in my children's room on the wall, in there closet, I even saw one in my bathroom. Finally an exterminator came out and said he "didn't see anything", but prior to that I've seen so much and I would kill them. The exterminator then came out a second time and yet again lied and said he didn't see anything, he must need an eye surgeon or a career change. After being discouraged from the exterminator not being able to find the bed bugs, I feel like I was getting the run around and no help so I took matters into my own hands and bought some bed bug powder from Home Depot and sprinkled it all around the corners of the walls in my home. I then began to do more research on your apartment complex and stumbled upon two reviews that I showed to them via a letter. I again reached back out to the leasing office where I spoke to Veronica explaining to her that I was still seeing the bed bugs. She told me that I had to catch one of the bugs for proof that I really had them. I found one crawling on my kitchen floor and I caught it and put it in a deer park water bottle. I brought it to the leasing office on a Friday and showed it to Veronica, she took the bottle out of my hand and said she would show it to the manager as proof that I found one. Veronica even mentioned to me that her mother use to have bed bugs once and even though bed bugs are small they do a lot of damage. Another thing that Veronica stated as a joke was that she was going too jokingly but the bottle with the bed bug on Meg's desk so she would come to work that Monday and see it. That Monday afternoon when I got off work I went to the leasing office to ask if my apartment would be treated now because I brought in a bed bug as proof on Friday, and Veronica stated that she couldn't find the bottle that I brought to her with the bed bug in it. That was the only evidence that I had to show that I really had bed bugs and the fact that it was thrown away is ridiculous. The management here is very unprofessional. For example, the first time I communicated with Monica she was very disrespectful, unapproachable, and most importantly unprofessional. When speaking to Monica over the phone she screamed at me and said, "If the bed bugs spread to the other tenants I would be responsible for it." I know for a fact that I am not responsible for the bed bugs, they were already here when I moved in. You know why? Because I moved back to my exact same residence and found nothing and am much happier. Don't do it, even if you're desperate for a place to live. You'd be better off in a homeless shelter, probably less risk for pestilences there and the customer service will be much better.

Questions & Answers

Why would they NOT have community trash dumpsters or make sure the residents have trash cans?

Been there 5 yrs never a dumpster or have trash cans they did put up little fences to put your cans behind but we have to put our trash cans down in the grass area in the court which isn't a good idea because people are trifling and they just throw their bags and loose trash and food and furniture down there and it stays there causes rats and animals to come I think it'd be better if each Court had a fixed dumpster area in place but you're talking about a company that continually races to rent every single year and water bill but has never done any improvement store fixed anything or added anything unless you're on the main road where if people want to come look at it first before they run it they can see it if you're in any of the courts or up top they don't do no improvements
