I had a good time. If you don't hike or you don't exercise frequently I would say -don't do it- because it is a hard mountain. Bring enough water !! You are gonna need it !! Some snacks like boiled eggs, something woth protein.

Poway lake is a great spot to bring the family and friends. Plenty of room for whatever you want to do.

Nice hike to go out and do on regular day. Carry lots of water if it's scorching outside. It's got lot of rocky sections, so watch your step. It's dog permitted trail, so you can have your pet for company. Overall a good hike with great views along the way and at the summit.
