Lunch at Brigantine. Server Marianna, who was phenomenal. Somewhat small portions for price, delicious food. Boyfriend had fish and chips with fries. I had sword fish tacos with hand cut chips and slaw. Not a fan of the coleslaw, but that's up to everyone's individual tastes. Pleasant staff, courteous.

Oh my gosh the brussel sprouts were to die for. We ate in the bar and enjoyed the hustle and bustle. Great kids menu.

Happy hour is a good deal for food specials. $6 each: bowl clam chowder, salad, fish taco slider. Excellent service. Popular for outdoor dining.

The location (directly across from the Hotel del Coronado) and the ambiance were both excellent. The Christmas decorations were tasteful, without subtracting from the setting by being ostentatious. Likewise, the music added to the setting without overwhelming the patrons by sheer volume. I had high hopes for the Clam Chowder and Macadamia Crusted Mahi and they were both good, but didn’t keep pace with the location and the ambiance. I would definitely recommend a local beer on the menu (Coronado Brewing Weekend Vibes IPA).
