I’ve been to this salon a few times & my previous experiences were fine. The women are amazing & did great work. Recently, thought I went into to get a full, basic set of acrylics & I had the older gentleman doing them. He did a terrible job, I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted & my nails came out short & crooked. I asked for someone to fix them & the staff refused, telling me that my nails looked bad because “my hand didn’t look like the hand in the reference photo”. I didn’t get a refund & had to go to a different salon to get them fixed.

Had a pedicure by the man who works there. I think he needed a break between clients, although my appointment was at 10 am. When he was using the cutical cutters on my toes, it was a bit uncomfortable. But I said nothing. That evening my left big toe was painful. I was worried. I put tea tree oil on it a few times. The pain lasted about 24 hours. The right big toe became uncomfortable too and I did the same treatment. Less than 5 days and the heels of my feet are rough . I really can't believe it. I could have called them, but what can they do ? I would not go again.

I spoke with a few people at my job who had nails that were beautiful. They all (4 people) said they went to Nails 2000. I called this morning right after opening hours and got an appointment time within 20 minutes. (Totally by chance.) I arrived and was taken in on time without issue. The gentleman who did my set (full set/gel) was awesome. I explained that I have sensitive skin/nails and I needed them done "thin" so that the chemical reaction (that normally takes place) would not burn my nail bed or skin. He did an amazing job and went above and beyond. I am so pleased. I cannot wait to go back for my refills. Hats-off to these people!

I love going to Nails 2000. I used to infrequently get pedicures done at random shops but now I've finally found a place where I consider myself a regular. I look forward to monthly pedicures and my every-other-monday gel manicures. All of the technicians have been excellent but I especially like Rose. I started going here just before covid hit, and I think this business rose to the challenge very well. I feel completely safe and protected coming here and I also feel like the employees are safe and protected as well. I certainly feel safer here than at most retail stores.
