My mom went to Joanns in Warrenton, OR this afternoon. All she needed was a single thing of yarn. My mom is older and only had a $100 dollar bill. (Banks barely give out smaller bills anymore.) She went up to pay, but the cashier didn't have enough to break it. The cashier was nice enough to switch tills and try the other. Sadly neither till had enough to break the $100. The cashier called the manager to break it for her. The manager brought up enough to break it, but as my mom was finishing checking out, the manager walked away a little and said to another coworker "For that small of a transaction when they're paying with a big bill, I just won't even make the sale." Joanns will no longer receive our business...

Customer service was severely lacking on 3-26-22 Not sure what the issue was. The cashiers were both unhappy. Environment or just not customer centric? Probably short staffed, they were the only employees that I saw in the 30 minutes we were there. If you are making a blanket, they have a large selection of fleece.

Well laid out store. Service is friendly and helpful. Good selection of fabrics and jewelry making and paint supplies. Those are the areas I spend at the most. This is a great place to find gifts too. My grandchildren lo e the different art and crafts kits.
