Sound biblical exposition is the focus: God's word is preached and taught. No wishy-washy self help messages like so many tele-evangelists do! :) My wife and I are here in Oregon only temporarily, and God has led us to this church and it's been a blessing. There are people in this church, both in the leadership and congregation, that are full of love, very hospitable, very generous with their time and welcomed us with open arms.

Pastor Mike Hastead follows the Bible in his teachings.He's passionate & kind. He's been a Pastor of this church for many years. Originally they were located on Troutdale Road. Once the land was bought they started building the church. The church people have a heart to serve.

Harvest Christian Church/wedding event venue is not a loving Christian space. I have been in the church my whole life and would not have ever dreamed that any house of the Lord would discriminate like they have this morning . My partner and I had an appointment to view the space for our wedding next year. We were invited by one of your planners at the bridal show. She told us that your organization was non- profit, and we loved that. She mentioned how they had a lovely auditorium/sanctuary and a garden for a reception. We were not told that we could be in only certain areas. All of this could happen IF we were a man and woman. We are not. We are simply two of God's female children who love each other. At the bridal show, we were not told that we would have to follow your discriminatory bylaws. But you'll turn around and take our money to support your predjudice organization??
