I usually don't write reviews but wow. Don't waste your time here.. The clothing is very overpriced, outdated, dirty, worn out and not to mention the lack of variety. They rejected 21 items out of 23 that I brought in all which were high end, name brand, and in great condition. I was told it would take 30 minutes, but when I came back they said to come back in another 30 minutes. They offered me $12 for quality basketball shoes, and a SF MLB hat both in like-new condition. Pathetic. The value of those items are well over $150+ brand new. This place is a joke, avoid at all costs.

I usually enjoy shopping here, even though I don’t always find something, it’s nice and clean. However, taking items in here to be sold is pretty ridiculous. I went in with two huge bags of clothes and the young girl looking through them just pulled out a large stack of the clothes which were folded, glanced at them for two seconds and shoved them back in. There’s no way she could have known what was in that stack of clothes. She didn’t even look at the condition, style or brand, if she had, she would have seen that there were multiple pairs of perfect condition, in season jeans that are worth hundreds of dollars each. Plato’s closet could have made great money off those. Some of the girls working were nice and some were rude and snobby and made you feel unwelcome.

Every time I’ve taken my clothes they say it’s not what they are looking for yet they have cropped tops(which is what I brought) and very old looking things not even compared to how the things I’ve taken look like. I feel like this place chooses the people they buy from and not determined base of the clothes. Even my husband thinks they are racist towards me because this is not the second time they’ve done this but I learned my lesson now. I sure won’t be going back.
