3 years ago my dad and I lost our truck and went into this place. Long story short we had no money because some homeless guy stole our wallet and phones etc (: The unit manager guy ended up kicking my dad and I out because my dad was confused on what "chore" he was supposed to do. We ended up sleeping at a river. Every so often I call and complain in hopes that they will fix these problems. But the reviews sure say something. Sad.

they wouldn’t let me into the building until my ride got there, when someone was acting violently during night towards me and i was in front of the building.

Associates were very helpful. Needed a place to stay short term. A Covid test is required before entry, which they administer on site with a 15 minute result time. I was blessed with a place to stay in the area where I'm at, so I didn't require their services after all. But they were willing to help if I needed it, and that's a blessing in itself. Thank you.

Place serves dinner at 5:30 so I tried it out w a friend . Alot of people and for most part its a decent setting. It's kinda strange at first but not bad. It is a men's homeless shelter and kitchen. When meals are served, women and children are allowed to participate whether they come alone or with a resident staying there it doesn't matter.

The times are always changing, but show up in the afternoon (it was around 4 as of a couple months ago) and they will tell you if they have beds available and when to come back when they give away available beds.
It varies by the day and the season and how close it is to thr first of the month, but they almost always have a few beds available and they rarely turn people away.
You can take clothes to the warehouse located at 1100 Front St NE. Open Monday through Saturday 9AM to 6PM. You can also call and schedule a truck to pick up your donations.
Actually, in part because of I stay there myself, they do allow showers for the public Monday through Saturday I believe it is at 4 p.m., but if he is a guest there then showers are also available not only at 4 p.m. but from 7:30 to 8:30 every single night and the 4 p.m. showers are every night as well.
Its clean most of the time and you dont have to leave.
