Two words: modernist monstrosity. This is one of the prime examples of a wreckovation. It by no means is the worst parish building I have been in, but the sense of the sacred is only scantily seen. No Crucifix in sight, barring of course, the required one on the altar which faces away to be more akin to a Jesusless Cross. Even the few icons are not much to look at. From the sullen, sunken faced, effeminate statue of St. Joseph, to the deathly slender visage of our Lord ascending over the altar, all the images in the church distract the mind from being lifted to heaven. Even if you cast your eyes up to avoid these eye sores you see squares of daylight and light fixtures shaped like odd pills, as if to remind you to medicate yourself into a ignorant slumber. The preaching, which of course happened even on a Saturday with 10 people in attendance, was par for the course in the Church today: watered-down truth to make you feel better. Now even all that being said I must out of Christlike charity say something good. At the very least the people were nice. But alas, niceties do not cover atrocities. Make the liturgy great again!

I signed up for their food bank & everyone here was just wonderful to me. I walked there & upon leaving, it started raining. A volunteer actually drove me home! I was really touched at the kindness shown to me. They also had great items in stock in their food bank.
