Terrible company. I rented a mini excavator and trailer last weekend. The mini excavator was nice and well kept, however the trailer was old, beat up and had home modifications for the tongue jack. I ended up getting a flat tire on the trailer an hour from home. I called Power Rents and they told me it was my responsibility to get the tire fixed. They offered no help to replace the tire or cover costs. I had to buy the new tire. I spent most the day fixing their trailer rather than using the mini excavator. The reason for the flat tire was an issue with their trailer brakes, causing a lock up anytime you try to slow down, including on the freeway. (Note: they put a 4000 lb mini excavator on a single axle steel flatbed with tires rated for 2300lb, 4600lb total, so the weight was completely maxed out) Due to their negligence and lack of their maintenance, my day was wasted, along with $350. Needless to say I will never give them my business again and would not recommend using them. I wish I would have read their reviews before, because looking at them now, I realize there have been other people who’ve had issues with their equipment.

I love S&I! The staff always makes sure you have what you need for as long as you need it. They're willing to work with you to find the best solution. I've rented from them a few times over the last couple of weeks and I am very happy with pricing, as well as the services provided. They can get busy at times, but they do a great job at working through the rush and providing exceptional customer service to each person.
