Came for the Miracle of a Million Lights event. It was beautiful and a really good time. Touring the house was great and the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. We were there on a day of pretty terrible weather so there weren't any crowds but I could see this place become too crowded very quickly on busy nights.

The Belle exceeded all of our expectations! We wanted a local venue that was convenient for people to get to, had a beautiful landscape, would rent us tables/seating, and served great food. It's all about the food! Wow, were we stunned. The Belle is a great near-one stop shop. It has a fantastic setting with trees and flowers perfectly manicured around the property which helped alleviate our need to buy more flowers and decor, the house is in immaculate condition and feels like a luxurious walk through the early 1900's, the tables and linens that come standard were beautiful, and all of our guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. As the bride, I must say I agree. After having looked around pretty extensively in Portland, the Belle was a great value and incredibly convenient. We had so much fun with the planning process, the sampling, and picking out linens/colors. And the day of, the staff was absolutely on top of it. My husband and I loved it, and our parents couldn't have been happier.

Hi Kristine, Thank you for your question! We are a privately owned property. One local Oregon woman is the sole owner. At the time of the Great Light Fight Competition, our property was being leased by the Chiles family who operated a wedding and events company of their own. We are unsure as to the details involving their submission and ultimate win of the ABC show, as they are no longer involved with our venue. Yes! The Miracle of a million lights starts on December 9th and runs until the 23rd. It begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. nightly. $8 for adults 5 dollars for kids age 3 and under are free. Seniors are also $4. Follow the Victorian Belle on Facebook for daily updates. Hope to see you there!
You could try Uber or Lyft. It's more than the bus but will take you right to the door.
