She done a Great job on my dress. I felt her prices was a little on the high side for the work she done. I took a dress to her to have it altered so it would be shorter. Never the less she delivered and I was pleased.

Found it very unprofessional. I called in advance and asked her “Can you do interior lining for a hoodie of mine that sheds a lot from the inside?” She said she didn’t understand what I meant by that and to bring it (the hoodie) in. So I did. She knew what I meant when I brought it in person and it felt like she came up with any excuse not to do it. Her first question was “Is the cloth stretchy?” I said no as she held it in her hands and kept shaking her head. Then followed up with “It would be to expensive.” So I asked “How much?” because I’m a customer willing to pay anything to resolve this issue. She gave me a price of $40 and I said “That’s fine I’ll pay $40.” And she said no again and that “It’d take to long” and that she couldn’t do it all of a sudden. So for anyone reading this if you need more than just your sleeves or skirt shortened I found a nice foreign lady that owns Rifka’s Alterations who was willing to do the work of interior lining for a paying customer.

DO NOT GO HERE. Took my $1000 dress to be altered(hem & other things). She cut it too short& instead of apologizing she tried to blame me for “bringing different shoes” which I did not, then said I asked for it to be that short. Which I also did not, in fact I asked for it to be touching the floor. She wanted to “fix” it but HOW? When u cut the fabric to the edge, there was no extra folded over fabric. I asked to take the dress home & I didn’t argue about pricing even after she cut it too short, I paid and then she hands me my change and tells me “don’t come back, find someone else.” No accountability for her error and then expects me to actually come back? Comical. There is a language barrier in which I believe played a part in her misunderstanding and cutting it too short. But treat ur PAYING customers with respect and dignity. Apologize and assume responsibility if u make a mistake instead of blaming the customer and trying to find excuses. She’s rude and unprofessional.

This is by far the best alterations place I've been to. Living from out of state I wish we had this lady back home! Shes very professional and understands the trends/fashion. I needed a suit fixed 3 days before the wedding, and she did an amazing job. I Highley recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!
