We love coming to the arbor to walk, talk, and to just relax. It's very peaceful. The only issue we've ever had here was when one of the girls mowing completely ignored walkers, and small children and mowed right beside the walkway throwing sticks and brush. One of the sticks hit my granddaughter and when I tried to wave her down to ask her to be more careful, she completely ignored me. She did have headphones on but I'm 99 percent positive she saw me waving my arms, as we made eye contact. It wouldn't be hard to slow down, as she was full speed , and when you see people go the opposition direction or atleast blow the debris in opposite directions. Otherwise it looks intentional. We tried to find thd young man who oversees everything, but couldnt find him. I will say he has always been respectful while on the mower, as well as a young blonde headed male student. The young lady, that wore a msu shirt, is the only one we've ever had an issue with.

A serene open space with beautiful landscape and walking paths. Picnic tables, benches, and kids play park.

A very relaxing and well kept Arboretum. With paved walkways through native vegetation. A playground for children big and small. You cant miss the beautiful fountain; that feeds the pond through a couple of falling streams. That you can watch setting in the gazebo. This is a great place for families or anyone else to vist. Great place for walking or running. This is a gem for the Murray community.

We actually just did this 2 weeks ago. No one is there watching you take pictures. Workers are tending to the landscape. That's about it. I saw someone else taking photos as well.
The big open area between the two paths would probably be good
