Piedmont Presbyterian is a small church with a big heart. It serves the neighborhood with a Play Park Monday through Thursday mornings providing a welcoming environment for parents and their young children. Sunday service feels like an extended inclusive family get-together. Patterned on an almost traditional format, it nevertheless strikes a unique note with Pastor Sarah's perspectives as well as with the choir's music.

Our fellowship activities include weekly coffee time or potlucks in between Piedmont and Promised Land's worship services and occasional seasonal events the churches host together such as caroling parties, a community Easter Egg hunt, picnic at Peninsula park and the Portland BridgePedal. We have not hosted a church-wide retreat for some time, but if you are looking for a retreat experience can recommend three retreat centers near the Portland area: Alton Collins Retreat Center, Menucha Retreat and Conference Center, and the Franciscan Spirituality Center.
