I filed January 24th and still no taxes and it's impossible to get through to a live person that can actually help you. It's ridiculous.

Always very helpful. They will have you sit down and explain everything in a clear manner!

Just got done with my hearing on the second floor. Better be prepared to use your GPS to arrive and allows 60 minutes due to traffic and parking and not knowing the area. Make sure you leave your drink or beverage, your back scratcher, pepper spray or whatever weapons in your vehicle because you shall have to leave them in your vehicle!... Officers at the metal detectors were helpful, kind and friendly.

In my area, there is no number for the local IRS. When I tried calling them, the number listed was for federal. I would write a letter to the IRS, giving them the info they requested in your letter. Also mention that the phone doesn't work. At that point, the ball is in their court. Snail mail correspondence has been the only way I've gotten through to the IRS lately. It sucks waiting so long for the money they owe me, but it's better than not moving forward at all. Good luck, Stewart.
Go to their website
When you stop by the IRS they give you a peice of paper with a whole bunch of phone numbers on it, they will tell you which one to call and you will most likely have to do that or set up an appointment (they take forever to answer). If you get to the right place through their automated phone system then you might be able to get one through mail. I tried to request a 4506-T and after almost 6 tires of calling I finally pressed the right numbers and they mailed me the form within 2 weeks. I hope this helps. 🙏😊
Contact the IRS on their web page
Do you have an ID? Or maybe if your not from here but legally here show them your resident card or passport something official that the government has issued
You will need to contact your employer to initiate that change.
Hello! You can go to the page www.irs.gov and look for the option "where is my refund" and there they tell you the steps to follow.
Yes but you need to make an appointment
