Don't let the casual cafe look of the building fool you. Their food is upscale and delicious! We ordered the special (sturgeon) and the mushroom ravioli. Both were amazing! The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was a nice blend of casual and upscale. I highly recommend 42nd Street Cafe and Bistro!

Very impressed with this place ! Just outstanding food and great people working there. My salmon scramble was so good. Even toast was better than average. Red potatoes were delicious as well.This is not just your average breakfast place - this is unique and gourmet. Prices were a little higher than average. One thing that we didn’t like was that our server never stopped by to check on how our food is. It’s okay thought cause it was very good!can’t wait to come back here next time we’re in town

Delicious food and great Bloody Mary. Their version of a Hangtown Fry was very good, with plenty of oysters and good sized portions. This place does a good breakfast with friendly service and well executed dishes. They have waffles, but not pancakes, not a deal breaker for me, but may be for those of you who require pancakes. Plenty of parking available. I'm glad they're open later than other places in the "off season".
