I recently ordered a set of bed extensions and drove down to pick them up in Oregon from north eastern Washington. I was unfortunately given the wrong brace to assemble but instead of just shipping the correct one, they sent their tech James up to deliver it since he would be in the area. James was incredible, he took some extra time to go over the mill and give me some suggestions (which I have heeded and am happy with results) and was just genuinely a knowledgeable and wonderful guy. I would have loved to have gotten him for entire day! Overall we do everything ourselves and very, very rarely do we need to call the dealer but when we do need to, I’m glad to know there are people like James around! Thank you so much Wood-Mizer! I can be a difficult and hard to please customer and you guys exceeded my expectations!

The rep spent some quality time showing me and a friend how the saw works and showed us the saw in action! Great service and we are ordering our new sawmill now...

Purchased a lt15 this summer and have been more than happy with the customer support. When a part is needed they just send it to me at no cost! They even have follow up calls to check in on how things are going. Thanks!

Brett and his crew were great to work with. Picked up my first woodmizer sawmill (LT15). Russ was a great help on some tech stuff and blades. Look forward to getting it assembled and making sawdust. Thanx to the Portland crew!!

Gary, you'd have to look for a local small mill owner but, usually alot cheaper then your big box stores.
When the blade is disengaged there is a brake that presses on the wheel. When it is engaged the engine pulley puts resistance on the wheel. So, no it does not!
We recommend that you change your blade at 2 hours actual cutting time. This will insure that you always get a quality cut. It will also save on the life of the blade. You should get 5 or 6 sharpening's out of your blade if you change them at 2 hours. Blades are about $20 ea and it cost $7 to sharpen. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank You Brett
