Difficult to get a hold of anyone via phone. Takes more than 2 days to transfer a prescription. Considering this CVS has an average of 2 stars and reading through the reviews, it doesn’t seem like I’m alone. If possible avoid. The 2 Walgreens on 28th St have been more reliable.

scheduled a covid booster online. Tried to schedule an appt for my wife on the same day and I was only provided options to schedule at CVSs in other cities. I called the pharmacy to discuss - after several buttons pushed I was connected with a central number (baby in the background). The person said she'd connect me with the store and I was immediately disconnected. I tried calling the store again and pushed the button for medical providers. After saying I wanted to speak to a pharmacist, I was transferred to voicemail. I gave up and cancelled the appt I had made.

This place is awful. It sometimes takes upwards of a week for these “people” to fill prescriptions, so if your life depends on, say, heart medication, don’t risk it. Second, they loudly discuss medication in front of others in line and constantly second guess doctors with no respect for patient privacy. Third, the line is always inexcusable. Always. Fourth, they never answer the phone. Finally, despite having a fleet of people working there, they are now closed between 1:30 and 2:30 every day for a leisurely lunch. Unbelievable. There is no reason they couldn’t stagger their lunches like literally every other professional office. There are so many other options in town. Don’t risk your health here.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I think this is important especially for those who have a condition that requires a stable supply of medication. If your online/phone refill requests get cancelled, don't waste time on the phone, just go in to refill!!! I am new to Boulder and have been completely surprised by how bad this pharmacy is. The wait is very long, the wait to get the medication is very long. So basically one needs to wait for ~1hr in line to ask for a refill, then waits for another hour to wait for the refill to be done, while making sure to time it right to avoid waiting for another hour in line. So I was super happy when asked if I want an auto refill to avoid the lines. And I said yes. This was November. However, I never gotten any messages that my medication is refilled, until I went in to repeat that >2 hour wait cycle again in January because they did not refill my December one (and thankfully I have some leftover medication before I moved here). I had to go in for the refill because they kept cancelling my online/phone requests but never told me why, even though my prescription says that I need to take this medication everyday for several months. Another thing I want to mention is that, if your phone refill request gets cancelled, just go to the pharmacy and get your refills done. I mention this because in January (already after they missed my December refill) I called them for a refill one day at ~9am, was told that it will be ready by 1pm, but when I looked online at ~1:20pm only to find that the refill request mysteriously disappeared. And when I called them, the system told me that my next refill will be in February. Basically my refill request for January went nowhere. Then I went to the pharmacy and spent ~3hours to finally get the refill I need for my upcoming 30 days. It was a Friday afternoon and the line was crazy. My take home message is that, this pharmacy is really, REALLY, short-staffed and chaotic. Calling them seems to be useless -- perhaps do give it a try just in case it works, but it has never worked for me. The auto-refill seems to only work for pre-packaged medication, so if your medication comes, say, loose in a bottle, you probably need to go in to ask for a refill. (Still, do try the online/phone system first, just I case my experience is uniquely unlucky!) Again, I hate to leave bad reviews, but I think this is important especially for those who have a condition that requires a stable supply of medication.
