This place was a major disappointment. For $169 a night, "family friendly" place, there was no microwave in the room, no fridge, no extra blankets or pillows. They charge extra for amenities at the front desk (like if you forget your toothbrush). The back deck was missing floor planks, the front door had duct tape over the lock. The decor and general feel of the place overall is super old/outdated. There aren't even lids on the toilets in the room, which is weird. The pool floor was dirty and had hair clumps laying around, the hot tub must have been broken because it was cold. Front desk service was super disappointing - asked for a small carton of milk at check-in for my 12-month old baby and she told me no, but there's a store down the street I can go buy some at (even though they offer free breakfast). Housekeeping doesn't come through even if you put the sign up asking them to. They just leave your clean towels in a pile outside your door - which is gross and lazy, like at least take them into the room and set them on the bed or the desk, c'mon now.

Hotel is very outdated, rooms and bedding need updating. The sofa bed had springs sticking out. Our room was not ready 1/2 hour after check in time. The phone in our room did not work. The door did not lock from the outside unless you pulled up on the handle, we didn't realize this until our last day so basically for 2 days our room was unlocked when we were gone. There was a "Do not disturb/ make up room sign" We put "make up room" on door and came back 8 hours later and the room was not made up. I called the front desk (from my cell phone because the room phone didn't work) They said oh we don't do that everyday, only when you check out. They told us to leave towels and garbage outside the room and they brought up clean towels, garbage bag. The garbage and towels sat in the hall all night. Breakfast was just ok. Location is close to Holiday World but dining is VERY limited. For the price we paid I was very disappointed.

Super nice desk clerk when we checked in for our stay. The room had a nice view and we watched the Holiday World fireworks from our window. My boys loved the pools and the playground. A short walk across the road was a small restaurant that had video games and quick service food. We certainly enjoyed the convenience of being so close to Holiday World. My boys already want to go back and get the same room.

The staff was super pleasant, especially the young man checking us in (I think his name was James—he was working the 7th of this month). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pools and hot tub. We had a good stay 😁
