I called tax rise to help me with my taxes and the representative I got Kenny was wonderful he helped me with explaining the financial matters the personal matters and what he thought that the IRS might do as well. He kept me abreast of anything that he thought I needed to know. He stopped and gave me time to ask him questions and I really do appreciate his caring that I understood. I spoke with another gentleman and and he was very kind too. Do not waste your money!. I consulted Tax Rise with the hope that a portion of my debt would be forgiven. That was simply not the case. When I didn’t hear back from them for a time, I reached out to the IRS to obtain a summarization of what had been done on my account. The IRS had no account of any contact. They attempted to explain it away. I ended up cutting a deal with the IRS on my own. They simply piggybacked on my efforts.

Worst service ever. I’ve been working with Hector Cash, case manager for 9 months and unfortunately after thinking this company and personal would help me settle my debt with the IRS it just got worst. They’ve been telling me they already sent paperwork to IRS to try to negotiate and I decided to call IRS myself only to find out nothing has been received they aren’t even aware of this company helping us in any way or form. They don’t even have records of tax rise calling in our behalf. So apparently I’ve been paying a company to do nothing and to play with my financial situation? What company does this? After speaking with Hector and providing all information IRS game me, he hasn’t even answered my calls or emails. It’s a hassle to get a hold of someone and everything promised just went out the window. I would never recommend this company it’s a waste of time and money your better off negotiating with IRS itself. If 0 stars would be an option trust me I would give it. Worst experience.

If you are asking me a question on whether or not tax rise is the real deal I will tell you this. They quoted me around $10,000 to resolve my $80,000 tax debt with the IRS. My case workers name is Nadia and she has been great in taking on my case with her team and have now put together the offer in compromise and is ready to be presented to the IRS. Chances are they'll have a final answer and finish my case before my payments are even completed. I think I've only given them around $2,500 so far. They are trusting me to continue my payments even if they get a resolution from the IRS. Yes I do believe they are for real. My case is not an easy one and I hired them earlier this year and I have been very pleased with their performance. Just do what they say to do when you need to do it and put a little trust in them they will get your problem resolved with the IRS if that's where you are in your case. Good luck
